Message From the Principal

Welcome to Upper Lake Middle School, home of the Wildcats! While we have a proud tradition of high student involvement and a supportive community, we treat every year as a fresh start with new opportunities and challenges.

At ULMS, we recognize and value the importance of collaboration in learning. Adults working with students, students working with students, and adults with adults are all critical components of a successful school. We are all learners here, and we look forward to learning and growing together with our staff, students, and community this year.

To keep up to date on all that is happening at Upper Lake Middle School, "like us" on Facebook and check in regularly to our school website. This will be your connection to our newsletters as well as to updates on our special events. And as you get to know your students’ teachers, look for ways to match your interests with our many volunteer opportunities. We love our volunteers, and we value their multiple contributions.

Within our handbook, we have prepared to introduce you to our school’s procedures and practices. We hope you find it useful to support you and your child throughout the school year. Please review the information and discuss it with your child in a way that you feel is appropriate for their age.
